時間飛逝，宗旨為培育香港玻璃藝術的香港玻璃藝術學會已經成立了十二年。
在過去的十年多，資訊科技已踏入了新紀元。信息高速公路已為我們提供非常有效的溝通管道，省卻我們在運作時的資源，給我們提供更多途徑選擇進行推廣。爲此在去年的會員大會上，會員一致通過將學會結束，尋找更有效的發展方向。
在學會正式結束之前，我們舉辨了一項籌款活動。活動籌得的款項成功地提供了多個玻璃課堂，好讓本地的青年人向藝術家學習。
最後我們想藉此機會感謝我們的顧問李景勳先生及王鈴蓁博士丶各位會員丶過去及現屆的幹事歷來的支持和貢獻。我代表學會深表謝意。

Dear members and friends of HKGADS,
Time flies and it has been 12 years since we started this meaningful project to foster art glass in Hong Kong.
In the past decade, many things around us had entered into a new phase. Various information superhighway have enhanced communication efficiency and have spared us enormous resources in performing our mission.
In our last annual general meeting, we have reached an agreement to wind up the Society as we decided to pursue better ways to achieve our objectives.
Before we formalise our winding up procedure, we had run a fundraising event. The fund raised was used to host a series of glass workshops for teenagers in collaboration with local glass artists. It was a big success and both parties had a wonderful time learning and sharing.
Now we have come to the final chapter to bid farewell. We would like to express our most profound gratitude to our two consultants Mr Andrew Li and Dr Sunny Wang, our members and friends and special thank you to our past and current committee members for their generous contributions in time and positive energy to start and run the Society.
We will maintain our blog and Facebook page until end of May so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any enquiries relating to Hong Kong glass arts.
